  The Beijin-Tianjin-Tanshan Economic Circle entails ¡®2M (municipality of Beijing and Tianjin) and 1P (Hebei Province)¡¯, among which includes 9 cities as: Beijing, Tianjin, Tanshan, Baoding, Langfang, Qinhuangdao, Zhangjiakou, Chende and Cangzhou. It covers an area of 32,600 square kilometers, occupying 0.34% of land in China, and its population is 27,62 millions, equivalent to 2.15% of that of
China.The 2011 GDP was totaling to RMB$ 383.19 billions.

¡¡Beijing is the national capital as well as the municipality of People¡¯s Republic of China, and thereof, the center of politics, economy and culture. Being one of ¡®Four Ancient Capital of China¡¯, Beijing has accumulated selective Chinese culture since Yuan-Ming-Qing dynasties.

Tianjin is a renowned international sea port as well as an ecological city.Tianjin is located in the center of Bohai economic zone, and functioned as the center of shipping and manufacture industry in northern China. Since 2006 Tianjin took up a strategic policy to develop the Coastal New Area, it become the fourth largest industrial area in China, and its sea port ranked the third place in China, in terms of foreign trades. In 2013 Tianjin will host the 6th East Asian Games.
¡¡Tangshan is situated in the center of Bohai Bay belt area, and considered as the economic center of Hebei Province, as well as a key city in Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan metropolis economic circle. Tangshan is not only a port city, but also enjoys highly developed high-tech industries. Thanks to the modern infrastructure in Tangshan port, Tangshan has been doing foreign tradings with 170 countries all over the world. The city covers an area of 13,206 square kilo meters.
¡¡Geographically Baoding is situated in the center part of Hebei Province, governs 5 districts, 4 cities and 18 counties. The population is over 10 millions, and the jurisdiction covers an area of 22,000 square kilo meters.
¡¡Baoding commands some competitive edge in developing its economy, and the advantage is further enhanced by its strategic location. The distance from Baoding downtown to Beijin is 140 kilo meters, as opposed to 145 kilo meters to Tianjin, 125 kilo meters to Shijiazhuang. Traditionally Baoding is famous for its profound cultural history and solid higher degree of education, therefore since 1992, the city was granted by the state to set up a new and advanced technology zone, enabling to develop high-tech industries, such as new energy and equipment manufacturing. To date there are some categories of products are still unmatchable by other countries.
¡¡Langfang is credited as the shinning pearl in Beijin-Tianjin corridor, for the city is situated between Beijing and Tianjin, an located in center east part of Hebei Province. The city covers an area of 6,429 kilo meters, and equipped with modern city facilities, such as convenient transportation and communication system, and a well egulated and prosperous economic market. The distance from Lanfang downtown to Beijing and Tianjin is 40 and 60 kilo meters respectively. Beijing and Tianjin international airport, as well as the Tianjin New Port all can be reached within one hour.
¡¡Facing Bohai Bay on the south, Qinhuangdao covers an area of 7,8142 square kilo meters. 404 kilo meters away from Shenyang, 483 kilo meters from hijiazhuang, 280 kilo meters from Beijing and 220 kilo meters from Tianjin, Qinhuangdao is of population at 2.98 millions. Qinhuangdao is equipped with a convenient transportation system, in which there are Qinhuangdao-Shenyang bullet train, Beijing-Harbin, Beijing-inhuangdao, and Dalian-Qinhuangdao high speed train, together with Beijing-Shenyang, and coastal high ways. 102 and 105 state express way runs across the entire city. It takes only slightly over two hours from Beijing, Shenyang to Qinhuangdao. The industry in Qinhuangdao has been focused on equipment manufacturing and its production contribution to total economic growth accounts for 48.9%.
¡¡Zhangjiakou is situated in the north west of Hebei Province, bordering Chengde on the east, Beijing on the south east, and Baoding on the south. The city covers an area of 36,800 square kilo meters, with a population of 4.34 millions. Zhangjiakou is an ancient and historical city in the northern China. Zhangjiakou becomes an important warehousing and distribution center in northern China, and a commercial portal for European foreign trade lane. Zhangjiakou is also an important production base in northern China.
¡¡Chengde, called Rehe in the past, is situated in the north part of Hebei Province, covering an area of 39,375 square kilo meters. The distance from Shijiazhuang, the municipal capital of Hebei Province, and Beijing to Chengde is 540, and 180 kilo meters respectively. Chengde has a convenient railway systems, there are Beijing-Chengde, Jinzhou, Bejing-Tongliao and Chengde-Ronghua speed railways. The famous Chengde Summer resort, together with surrounding temples, have been approved by UNESCO, as the ¡®world heritage¡¯. The three advantages adopted by Chengde government to develop its economy, are tourism, natural resources and the strategic location.
¡¡Facing Bohai Bay on the east, Cangzhou covers an area of 13,419 square kilo meters. The distance from Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang to Cangzhou is 240, 120 and 221 kilo meters respectively. Cangzhou is located in the center of so-called Big Bohai Bay area, serving as a causeway for reaching eastern coastal cities.
